Before we venture into tips to decrease stomach fat, let's eat some FAcTs first. Fat must exist with reasonable proportions in everyone. It is widely accepted that men are medically safe with less than 18% total body fat while women’s should be less than 23%. Unfortunately this does not hold true for a good number of people, thus opening a lucrative market to cater for their needs. When we eat, there is an intake of calorie which we in turn utilise in our daily physical activity. Fat is then produced when there is an excess of these calorie-deposits after our physical work. In layman’s term, when our diet deposits more calories than is needed, fat is produced. However, once produced, body fat is not a cakewalk to remove. This does not mean that we should not worry about looking good or making efforts to lose weight and burn fat. In fact, I was struggling for 6 years with a low low self-esteem and just wanted to look decent. Not overly attractive, but just decent as I was tired of being a target for scorn. I don't wanna bore you with the path I went through but I finally made it. So there is absolutely nothing wrong in wanting to look as good as you want.
